Mum's quilt finally finished

This quilt has been a long time in the making. I finally finished it last December for my Mum's birthday and now I'm finally posting about it.
The pattern is based on the coin quilts at Be Be Bold Quilts but their website doesn't seem to exist anymore.


After too long procrastinating about hand quilting it, I had it professionally machine quilted and I love the result.
The fabrics are Japanese. It all started when I was given some pieces of lovely blue and white Japanese fabric for my birthday. I continued to collect Japanese prints in red and blue until I had enough for this quilt.
